The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, October 28 suggests Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will contemplate ending her life.
Also coming up, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) will come face to face with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will agree on something. And Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will tell Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is resigning.
Y&R spoilers tease Lily will tell Devon that Billy quit the CEO job. Devon will say the timing is terrible. “If he cares about you this much, wouldn’t he keep his mouth shut about wanting to resign until we’re past this crisis?” he’ll ask. Lily will admit she’s hurt it didn’t work out but it’s what’s best for her relationship. Lily will ask about Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Devon will admit the distance has caused a strain between them.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Johnny Thinks She’s Following Him
Meanwhile, Billy will run into Chelsea at Chancellor Park. She’ll tell him Victoria laid down the law and she was right. Chelsea will say she saw how upset Johnny was when he saw her. She wishes she could undo her mistake. “Just don’t pin all your hopes and dreams on Johnny,” Billy will advise her. “I think you’ve just got to wait it out.” Chelsea will ask Billy to tell Victoria and Johnny that she won’t ever bother them again.
At Crimson Lights, Johnny will spot Connor. They’ll talk about how freaked out they are about what has transpired. “The worst part is,” Johnny will say. “I think your mom’s following me.” Connor will admit Chelsea has been acting really strange. Adam will approach them and Victoria will walk in. Johnny will ask what she said to Chelsea. They’ll joke around with Connor and Johnny then Adam will say he’d like to speak to Victoria on the patio. “What exactly went down with Chelsea and why is Johnny upset?” Adam will ask her. Victoria will say because he had to draw the line and tell Chelsea to back off.
Back inside the coffeehouse, Johnny will ask Connor if he could go to the sleepover party with him. When Adam and Victoria rejoin their sons, she’ll eventually agree to let Johnny go. Then Billy will walk in. “Walking in here and seeing the two of you smiling at each other is the scariest thing I’ll see all Halloween,” he’ll quip. When Adam leaves to drop off the boys, Billy will tell Victoria he ran into Chelsea and is worried. “Something is off.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Chelsea Just Can’t Take It Anymore
Speaking of Chelsea, she will return to her hotel room and bawl her eyes out. The room will go dark and she’ll hear the voices of everyone berating her. Adam will arrive at her door and tell her Johnny went to the party with Connor. She’ll say she’s glad they’re getting along. Adam will invite Chelsea to have a drink with him at the Glam Club upstairs and she’ll say she’ll meet him there.
Finally, Billy and Lily will celebrate Halloween at the club. But Billy will be concerned when he sees Chelsea sit down with Adam. She’ll pretend to Adam that she’s getting better and he’ll say maybe she should seek therapy. “You’re right, I need help,” she’ll tell him.
However, as Adam continues talking, she’ll look around at the happy couples in the club and the voices in her head will return. Chelsea will tell Adam she needs to use the restroom and she’ll head up to the roof. “I can’t take it anymore,” she’ll say to herself, as she stands at the ledge and stares down at the traffic below. But will Chelsea jump?
